ECOSYSTEX Conference 2026 in Antwerp Explores Circular Textiles Beyond Recycling
The fourth ECOSYSTEX Conference will take place as a physical event from 22–24 September in Antwerp, in partnership with University of Antwerp.
Bringing together experts, innovators, researchers, and industry leaders from across Europe, the conference will explore how the textile ecosystem can move beyond recycling and accelerate the transition toward truly circular textiles.
Participants can expect two days of insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and collaborative exchanges focused on the future of sustainable textiles.

The event will also feature the publication and presentation of the:
- Bioeconomy Innovation Strategy for the European Fibres, Textiles and Apparel Industry by Textile ETP.
Additionally, attendees will have access to two exclusive private tours:
- A CISUTAC pilot showcase at De Kringwinkel Antwerp, featuring a semi-automated repair station designed to reduce repair times and make garment care accessible to all staff.
- A Fashion & Sustainability Walk through Antwerp, guided by MoMu Fashion Museum.
The third day will be dedicated to “Textile ETP on Tour” including visits to:
- Centexbel in Ghent
- Resortecs in Brussels (limited seats; available only to ECOSYSTEX or Textile ETP members)
