The Power of Cooperation: How the VERDEinMED Project Gave a Voice to Textile Sustainability in Europe
Over the past 18 months, the VERDEinMED project promoted textile circularity through a collaborative European communication campaign. The campaign involved 7 partners from 7 countries and produced 21 original videos promoting sustainable fashion practices and encouraging citizens to reduce textile waste. This visual journey, by joining forces and leveraging specific digital channels, brought to life a global community of professionals and citizens united by the common goal of reducing fashion’s environmental impact.
The videos were filmed in real commercial environments following a structured format combining educational content, interactive quizzes, practical sustainability tips, and calls for active engagement through participation in the project’s Living Labs.
The campaign reached more than 28.000 people, generating over 52.000 impressions and nearly 2.000 interactions across five social media channels.
Through images, stories, and voices collected across Europe, the VERDEinMED communication campaign demonstrates how cross-border cooperation and targeted digital communication can strengthen awareness and inspire more sustainable behaviour.
