Join the 9th Circle the Med Forum in Athens 19–21 May 2026
The Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE) Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme invites stakeholders from across the Mediterranean to join the 9th edition of the Circle the Med Forum, taking place in Athens on 19–21 May 2026 at the Piraeus Sailing Club.
Hosted by the Euro-MED Programme’s Greek partners, DVISION and MIO-ECSDE, the event will bring together policymakers, researchers, innovators, public authorities, civil society organisations and private sector representatives to exchange knowledge, strengthen cooperation, and promote sustainable solutions for the Mediterranean region.
Recognised as a flagship platform for climate and environmental dialogue, the Circle the Med Forum focuses on accelerating the green transition, strengthening resilience, and advancing circular economy approaches across the Mediterranean. This year’s edition explores a shared vision for a sustainable Mediterranean future based on innovation, cooperation and inclusive governance.
The Forum will also host two major annual gatherings of the ISE Mission:
- the MED Innovation Summit 2026, dedicated to sharing innovative solutions and promoting collaboration across thematic projects and territories;
- and the 5th ISE Community of Practice (CoP) in-person gathering, focusing on thematic cooperation, peer learning and circular innovation strategies.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in high-level dialogues, thematic working groups, networking activities, training sessions and interactive exchanges addressing climate resilience, regenerative economic models, sustainable resource management, and community-led transition initiatives.
Registration is now open through the Circle the Med conference platform. Participants are required to create an account and confirm their attendance through the registration system.
