Youth and Repair Webinar: Empowering young people to repair and extend the lifespan of products for a sustainable future

The Youth and Repair webinar will explore the awareness level of young people regarding repair and reuse issues and practices, examine the role they can play in the ecological transition, and provide a platform for initiatives aimed at or led by young people. It is organized within the framework of the EU REPper project, which brings together stakeholders from eight countries across the Mediterranean region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain) with the aim of enhancing sustainability through the circular repair economy.

The objective of the REPper project is to foster a culture of repair by offering concrete responses to multi-dimensional challenges:

  • creating new sustainable business opportunities through the integration of repair into business models and production processes
  • upskilling in green job sectors
  • changing consumer behaviour by making repair a more attractive choice

The webinar will take place on 19 February 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.
