VERDEinMED Handbook 7 – Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development

The seventh VERDEinMED Trainer Handbook, titled “R&D+I for Sustainable Development”, explores innovative approaches and best practices that advance research, development, and innovation to accelerate sustainable solutions across the textile value chain. It covers the following topics:

1. The importance of R&D in sustainability;
2. Sustainable material innovation;
3. Process innovation for sustainability;
4. Collaborative R&D partnerships;
5. Scaling up sustainable solutions;
6. Case studies and best practices;
7. Conclusions.

The handbook was developed in the framework of the VERDEinMED project, under Activity 1.3 (Train the Trainers), part of WP1 (Reforming the Industry through Sustainable and Circular Practices).
