The sixth VERDEinMED Trainer Handbook, titled “Promoting Sustainable Consumption Practices”, explores innovative approaches and best practices for enhancing transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across the textile and fashion value chain. . It covers the following topics:
1. Sustainable product labelling and certification;
2. Communication and reporting;
3. Understanding consumer behaviour;
4. Consumer engagement and education campaigns;
5. Empowering communities for collective change;
6. Case studies and best practices;
7. Conclusion.
The handbook was developed in the framework of the VERDEinMED project, under Activity 1.3 (Train the Trainers), part of WP1 (Reforming the Industry through Sustainable and Circular Practices).
